This week, I would like to talk about boundaries. How often do we catch ourselves wanting to speak up and say “Just stop already!”? I know I find myself often wanting to express my feelings, but I hold back because I don’t want to start an argument, or I get riddled with guilt.

I don’t want to upset my family members. Well, I often talk to clients about healthy boundaries because healthy boundaries are important to having high self-confidence and healthy relationships. In fact, when I set boundaries with people, I am expecting them to be upset.

I am holding that other person accountable with my boundaries. I am requiring others to treat me with respect. I set boundaries with intention and love. You can too. Learn to love yourself again. It can feel very empowering.
